CRN® Recognizes Wasabi on 2020 Storage 100 List

Boston, MA, April 13, 2020 — Wasabi, the hot cloud storage company, announced today that CRN® , a brand of The Channel Company, has named Wasabi to its first ever 2020 Storage 100 list. This new list, selected by a panel of respected CRN® editors, acknowledges leading storage vendors who provide transformative, cutting-edge solutions.

Not only do these Storage 100 companies push the boundaries of innovation, the list itself is a valuable resource for solution providers to find vendors who can guide them through the intricate storage technology market. The Storage 100 list will become an annual reference for solution providers who are seeking out vendors offering superior storage solutions in areas such as software-defined storage, data protection, data management and storage components.

Wasabi is 1/5th the price of Amazon S3 and earned a spot on the highly coveted list for its disruptive pricing. There are two simple pricing models that channel partners can leverage to resell Wasabi. These options include a pay-as-you-go object storage model where partners charge only for what their customers use, or Wasabi’s new Reserved Capacity Storage that allows resellers to sell specific amounts of object storage for 1, 3, or 5 years at a fixed price. Both pricing models offer partners the opportunity to earn margins while offering their customers a simple predictable service since there are no fees for egress or API requests with Wasabi.

“CRN’s Storage 100 list is our newest recognition of the best of the best in storage innovation,” said Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company. “These companies are on the forefront of storage technology advancements, delivering state-of-the-art solutions that are built for the future. We acknowledge and congratulate them for their investment in R&D, engineering and innovation. Their efforts enable solution providers to offer the best technology for their customers.”

“Our team is proud to be named to the CRN 2020 Storage 100 List,” shares Marty Falaro, Wasabi SVP Global Sales and Alliances, and one of CRN’s 50 Most Influential Channel Chiefs. “We truly believe innovation in both our technology and our simple pricing model is what distinguishes us and it’s an honor to see our hard work pay off with CRN’s valued recognition.”

The 2020 Storage 100 list will be featured in the April 2020 issue of CRN® and online at www.crn.com/storage100.
