Silica Fiber has unique metro dark fiber routes that provide additional diversity and resiliency in the metro Silicon Valley market. Silica can provide dark fiber linear or ring topology services to other data centers in the Silicon Valley market. Silica uses 100% buried fiber and can deliver redundant designs to Cyxtera data center customers looking for diverse paths.
Silica Fiber is rapidly deploying ultra-high capacity fiber optic cables throughout their conduit systems for the sole purpose of leasing dark fiber. Their current network in Silicon Valley touches almost 30 major data centers in and around Santa Clara County and will more than double in size in the next 12 months.
